To celebrate our day of wedding we wanted to take a little trip. Friday was my last day of school before I went off track (Yeah B Track) and it was also my last night of parent teacher conferences. Thus, we decided to just do an overnight trip to a place in Midway called The Homestead.
Saturday we dropped off the furry one at Grandma's house and we headed up to the Park City area where we ate at a restaurant we found on our last vakay. Then, we drove through Heber and Eric gave me a little tour since Heber was where he went to school and such. He must love me because he let me take his picture in front of his elementary, middle, and high school. I told him that we were documenting history! Then we headed to the Homestead and we had a lot of fun. Indoor heated pools bring us joy! Here are a few pictures from our trip as well as a picture from our day of matrimony just a year ago.

Partaking of food in Park City.... we might have accidently picked up a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Apple Pie Apple on the way out! Love them!
Walk down memory lane. I asked Eric if he was from the class of 1988 on the sign to which he reminded me that he wasn't THAT old!
We took this before we headed home. We were sad to leave and hope to return sometime down the road.

(PS This year, we need to get together once the weather is warm and the snow is gone and do a grand tour of Wallsburg!!!!!! By bike or foot or something. Wouldn't that be fun? Happy anniversary! Looks like a great way to spend it! I can't believe it was a whole year ago but then again it seems like Eric has been a part of our lives forever!
I have heard amazing things about that Homestead! I wish that we were as romantic as you youngens! (Get my play on words?) Now I feel as though I have made a profound comment.
