Chesney...The Non Furry One

This past weekend was an exciting one for me as we got to go to the Kenny Chesney concert! I originally was planning to sacrifice and not purchase since the tickets are pretty pricey and we are in a recession after all! However, plans changed a week or so ago when my friend was selling two tickets for a pretty cheap price! How could I resist? I told Eric that we were destined to go to which he told me I sounded a tad sacrilegious! :) Our seats were pretty far away but they were in the shade which brought the pregnant woman joy!


Here is a photo of us before the concert started! The empty seats all around us filled up pretty quickly. Please appreciate how pregnant I look in my Kenny Chesney attire!

Eric's opinion of Kenny improved once he came out for his encore songs. He switched his cowboy hat for a Utah Utes hat! Need I say more?

The Fourth

We had a very enjoyable day as we celebrated the birthday of our country. We woke up and went and spent the day with Mama Jo. We played cards and relaxed for most of the day. Later in the evening, we met up with our friends the Tuttles! We all packed our blankets, snacks, and card games and went to see the fireworks in Sandy. It was so much fun and lucky for us it didn't rain like it was supposed to.
