Y Mountain

We were one with nature this weekend and we went and hiked the Y mountain. I will have to be honest and say that this was my second try getting to the top. Eric and I went last year in the middle of the afternoon on a very hot day and I wimped out. I spent the last year telling myself that it was the weather that stunted my hiking ability last year! This time we were smarter and we went out 7:30 at night and it was awesome. I did struggle at times but I did finally make it up there! Good thing I have a patient spouse. We added some extra entertainment by being decked out in U of U clothing. The comments people made to us made us laugh and Eric loved every minute of it. Here is some photo proof!

Day of Birth

Last weekend was Eric's 31st birthday! He has been wanting to switch from Dish to Direct TV so he could watch is U of U football on the Mountain. So I had Direct TV scheduled to come early on Saturday morning for his birthday. Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake brought joy to my heart, soul, and stomach! Eric got the key lime and he really liked it although it was a little too tart for my liking! Then we went and saw The Mummy. Here is a picture of us celebrating my favorite old man turning 31! The term old man is out of love of course!

I was feeling a little left out of the k9 tenderness! So to remedy that, I am posting a picture of me with the furry one. I think she is just so darling! Who needs a little baby when you've got a shih tzu! Just kidding :)
