Christmas Cruise

Eric and I did very well in buying our gift for each other this year. We bought each other a cruise! :) Eric and I went on a cruise the week before Christmas and we had a blast. We went with my brother Shane and his wife Julie as they were celebrating their 10 year anniversary. Eric and I are proud to say we have almost made it 10 months! We ported out of Orlando and we went to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belieze, and the Bahamas. It was sunny and warm and so fun. Here are some fun pictures of our vakay in no particular order!

Getting on the ship

Eric shaking his groove thing in our disco dance class :)

Eric having a hard time relaxing on his vakay.

Proof that is was actually Christmas time...we hard a hard time believing it with the warm weather we were having!

We are in Costa Maya where we got off and shopped and walked around. It was beautiful.

We swam with the sting rays in the Bahamas. It is so fun and I was very brave :)

Eric snorkeling and trying to touch all the fish!

Our cabin....our home away from home

Shane and I on formal night

My ec was working it in his tux!

All of us before one of the shows started!

We went on an excursion together in Cozumel that included a exciting and soaking speedboat ride to a private island.

Julie and I purchased some candy on the ship and we were excited to partake!

This is us with our super charged maitre de Joseph.... its showtime!

Us playing dominos in the aiport on the way home. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of airport time for Shane and Julie. Luckily everyone finally got home!

As you can tell we had a great time. It was fun to get to bond with Shane and Julie and even now we are missing them. So tender!!

CCC

Well it has been a holiday tradition to have mama jo's homemade chocolate covered cherries. Not to be boastful, but they are so much better than the box ones you can purchase. However, there is a little kink in the plan this year seeing that mama jo is in Washington for Christmas. So I was of a nervous nature! Mama jo made the white center stuff before she left so all we had to do was roll them and dip them. I had mama jo on stand by to answer my questions and I did call her several times. I also made quite the chocolate mess of my kitchen. However, they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I think that they are usually more attractive but it is the taste that matters right? Here are a few pictures of Eric and I continuing on this yummy tradition.

My Cute Helper

Eating the middle instead of rolling it is quite the temptation.... but I refrained!

Holiday Loving!

So the holidays are rapidly approaching and we are trying to be of a festive nature. First of all, we had a great Thanksgiving with Mama Jo and the Dredges! We had a lot of fun and we ate a lot of good grub. Since Mama Jo is going to be in Vancouver for Christmas, we also exchanged gifts with her on Thanksgiving. Below is a turkey day photo as well as the AWESOME gift we got from Mama Jo...food storage! We were so excited!

Our huge stack of food :)

This past weekend we did a couple of things to get us in the Christmas spirit! On Friday night we got tickets to The Forgotten Carols! It was SO good. I had seen it once when I was younger but I enjoyed a lot more now... in my mature state! :) On Saturday we went to our ward Christmas brunch and we went and saw the lights last night. They were beautiful and very sparkly! Sadly though, the night ended with Eric kicking my trash in air hockey at the arcade at the Gateway! He made me promise to include this bit of information! Below are some pictures of our night downtown.
