Moving On... Forwarding Address Unknown

Well, as if our lives aren't crazy enough, we had to throw something else into the mix! We put our house up this summer to see if it would sell. The floor plan isn't the best and we have been wanting a place with a yard for Chesney. So we put it up and thought we would see if we could get an offer on it!! Around August, Eric and I were just thinking that we had better get a baby room set up since it looked like we weren't going anywhere! Then and only then, did we get an offer that we just couldn't pass up! So a week or two ago, we moved out of our humble abode. Moving is a pain in the butt especially when I can't do too much. Eric would get mad at me when I tried to do much of anything! We had a lot of people help! We moved into Mama Jo's and I can say that we have never eaten better! Our dinners and lunches are high quality! We may never leave! :) We have taken up half her garage, her bedroom, and a lot of storage room downstairs! She must really love us! We are so blessed that we have a place to call home until we find our new home. We are looking proactively but not frantically! We just have faith that a good deal of a house will come along! Until then, we are expecting little Clara Jo any day now! We were sad to leave as we had a lot of good memories at our townhouse, but we are excited to see where life takes us next!

Rexburg Bound

Eric and I took a little overnight trip to the lovely town of Rexburg, Idaho. I had gone to college there many many years ago and Eric's mission president is now the temple president of the Rexburg temple. He wanted to go visit with them and see the temple. Needless to say, we were on a time crunch go to BC (before the child). Eric and I took a similar road trip while we were dating a couple of years ago. We went to pick up the furry child. It was fun to go back after the marriage although Eric wouldn't let me bring home another dog! What's up with dat?

Last time we went to Idaho, I knew that I wanted to take Eric to a place called Big Jud's. They have these huge hamburgers that are quite tasty! Well, we never made it there because I had forgotten how to get there and we ran out of time and had to eat lunch at Arby's instead. Eric likes to give me crap about there really being a place called Big Juds! So this time, I was determined to get us there. Map quest took us there going through Idaho Falls. We did get there eventually but it was quite the trek. The whole time Eric was saying, "This place better be good!" Luckily we did find it and he enjoyed it.

After our large and scrumptious lunch, we went to Rexubrg and met up with President Christensen. We changed and went and did a session at the Rexburg temple. It was so pretty inside and neat to go there. I wished the temple had been there when I went to school there. I figured if you skipped school to go to the temple, the Lord would bless you on finals day! :)

After our session, President Christensen took us out to dinner and we went and visited the Teton Dam. It was fun driving out and seeing all of the potato fields and such. I definitely felt like I was in Idaho! We visited the rest of the evening. We stayed the night with them and woke up the next morning and headed out pretty early. I did make Eric walk around campus with me for a while so I could reminisce. They are doing a lot of construction and making things a lot bigger and better. It was then time for us to head back. We enjoyed our little vakay even though I came back without a friend for Chesney!
