We had a great Labor Day! We decided to go on a little va kay (vacation)! We went to Park City for a couple days and had a blast! The first night that we got there, we checked into our hotel and then hit the outlet stores. Eric did very well at the outlets where he purchased not 1, not 2, but 3 pairs of shoes! He is trying to even out his side of the closet in shoe accumulation! I am still victorious however!

Then we went and ate dinner and went swimming in the resorts half indoor half outdoor pool. The next day we got up and went on a pretty hike near Deer Valley. We hiked to a lake where Eric and I had stone skipping contest and I was victorious... humble but victorious! We went swimming again before the big opening U of U game of the season. We ordered pizza and watched it. I was glad Utah won or else I would have had a grumpy va kay partner!

After the game, we rode the Alpine Coaster which was a blast! Then we ate again and went swimming again!

We came home Sunday and picked Chesney up and went to church with Mama Jo! Then we ate a yummy dinner and hung out the rest of the evening! We were excited to have another day off of work! The big adventure of Monday was my first attempt in giving Eric a hair cut! My sister Sonya taught me when she was here last but I was of a nervous nature! Good news is, I didn't royally mess it up! Bad news is, I am sure he has had better cuts! I am learning and he didn't fire me!

After our hair cutting adventure, we went and had lunch with my friend Cassah and her cute family who was in town! We ended our holiday weekend by picking up a slice of cheesecake at the Cheescake Factory and watching Jack Bauer (24). All in all is was a great day of labor!
