The Day of Mothers

I was able to have a great first mothers day. I woke up to some tender gifts from the hubby. I got a certificate for a pedicure.... love it! Eric also got me a gold chain with a little birth stone girl locket that has the September birthstone in it. He made sure to double check if the month or gender changed.... he could exchange! :) I was able to enjoy church to its fullest potiental since Eric also taught my sunbeam class. Now that is love! He said it was the longest two hours he has had in a long time! Mama Jo went to church with us and then we had dinner and played dominos. It was a fun day to spend with my high quality mom and enjoy my first mothers day! Here are a couple photos of our day. If you notice, I am starting to show but I think I am in the pudgy stage of the pregnancy! So loving!

Being Wrong Isn't Always Bad

So as time is progressing, I am realizing that even though I was wrong about the whole gender thing.... its all good! Julie, my cute sister in law, made me these darling shoes for our little girl! I think they are so dang cute! Thanks Julie!!
