Clara Jo sure is growing up! She is walking all over the place. She has been walking for a long while holding on to stuff. If she even held on to your finger, she would walk all over the place. She just had no desire to walk by herself. So she decided right before she turned 16 months, that maybe she should conquer that. And that she did. I have tried many times to post a little video clip but haven't had much luck! Just use your imaginations to get a visual! :)
She is also talking a little bit more. She says baby alot and we think she is saying Chesney or it might be doggie. Whatever it is, she says it over and over when the furry one is around. One of Clara's favorite past times as of lately is to sit up on the bathroom vanity and play with Mom's makeup. Eric isn't such a fan of this since she wants him to put her up that all the time to do make up. He has told her time and time again that he doesn't do makeup! Men!!!
A few weeks ago, Eric had a minor surgery on his big toe. Here he is with little one right when we got him home from the doctor with his lovely yellow foot! Don't worry folks.... he is back in good health and only missed one week of church basketball. The first few days, we lounged around and watched a lot of movies while he was recuperating.
While Aunt Sonya was in town, she brought a little pony to Clara from her cousin Kerrigan. Oh, how she loves this pony! We have to eat with it, sleep with it, and even hold it while we get the diaper changed! Loving really....not annoying at all... just loving! :)

I didn't realize how much you really loved that pony! It was fun to see Clara walk, I don't even have to imagine it now.
I thought about getting one of those ponies a little bit ago :o) Glad that Clara likes it :o) Dani is always calling our dog Rocky "dog" even though she knows his name she still calls him "dog!" :o) Glad Eric's toe is doing better!
She has gorgeous eyes doesn't she! We have a makeup fan here too, and I've had to learn the hard way which ones are off limits for babies... :) She hasn't had Bryce involved with the makeup yet- now I'm excited for that experience! Too funny!
Adorable!! She is such a doll. Can't wait for more outdoor activities!
